Pop's Fried Chicken

"I met a cousin at pops fried chicken. I had eaten about 2 hours before this. As I sat with my cousin and her church group, my wife and I watched and SMELLED the chicken. When we said our goodbyes , we went back in and ordered to go. We got the chicken strip with gravy. We also ordered it with black eyed peas and a chicken dressing and cranberry sauce . With a deviled egg as an appetizer we were set for the amazing fresh real peach cobbler. The cornbread was outstanding. The entire meal was a life altering experience. We didn't eat it until we got to our hotel in Lake Dallas . At that point I was ready to go back the 50 miles and get more. We didn't but everything was that good ! When I paid for it the cashier said $19.63
I said that's too cheap for what we got and she said she thought it was an excellent bargain too.
Did I say I wanted to go back ? If you ever find yourself in Terrell Texas Find this award winning restaurant and get some.

"I was introduced to this dinner by a local who recommended Pop's for good cooked food. They have 16 different vegetables and meat cooked in 15 different ways. I had fried chicken, corn, and the most deliciously prepared pumpkin! I'll definitely recommend Pop's for their homestyle cooking!"

"Rolled into Terrell today and headed straight over here. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They made suggestions without being pushy, and I'm so glad I took their advice. The fried chicken was to die for. I've never had such great tasting fried chicken. For sides, I selected the best collard greens and sweet potato. Food is served cafeteria style and there was plenty of seating. The tables were frequently cleaned for the next hungry group. And they have the very best ice tea. I'm going to sleep dreaming of this place!"
